ABOUT ME

Winnie Carruth was born in British Hong Kong. She studied law in the United Kingdom and is a barrister of Middle Temple, London, England. She previously worked in Toronto, Bermuda, Ottawa, and Asia in both the private and public sectors. Bedford, Nova Scotia, is her new home since August 2017.
 

Winnie has enjoyed all forms of art since childhood. She frequently visits museums and art galleries wherever she is. She loves to paint and she especially likes to paint with acrylics. She also loves nature and therefore especially enjoys to paint in the beautiful surroundings of Nova Scotia. She often marvels at God’s creation and finds joy in all of nature which provides rich inspiration for her painting. Likewise, her paintings include scenery from her extensive travels in different parts of the world.

Winnie also enjoys playing the piano since childhood. She is classically trained at the Toronto Conservatory of music in piano.
 

Winnie’s artwork is currently being represented at the Karl Penton Art Gallery located at Sunnyside Mall, Bedford, Nova Scotia in Canada. Her work has been collected by art enthusiasts in different parts of Canada as well as by international collectors in the UK, US and Asia.
